Denis Diderot

(5.10.1713 - 31.7.1784), he was a French philosopher and liberal writer.

In his works he engaged in theology, philosophy, physics and mathematics.

He was the leader of group of scientists and philosophers, which definited as well the destination made encyclopedie with the all of human knowledges
of given epoch, which the achivemented. The Encyclopedie was published gradually, between the years 1751 – 1772, and it divided in 28 tome.

Jean le Rond d´Alembert

(16.11.1717 - 29.10.1783), he was a French philosopher, mathematic and physicist, member of French, Berlin and St. Petersburg Academy of science.

He wrote famous introduction to the French Encyclopedia called Discours préliminaire de l´Encyclopedie (first tome of Encyclopedia, 1751).
This work opened him the entrance in French Academy of Science. He wrote in the Encyclopedia until 1759 the most the mathematical articles,
but after the publishing of seventh tom was him the other publication´s activity prohibited, therefore he had to give up the editorship of Encyclopedia
uterrly just for Diderot.
